M&M Trucking & Reclamation, Inc. offers several employment opportunities at all levels in the community. The fleet requires that drivers must be hired and trained to operate the units. Along with these units, the company’s reclamation and demolition services offer additional employment opportunities.
Employment process
Steps to applying
- Submit a completed application and a current copy of your driving record. The driving record must show all violations the applicant has been convicted of in the last 10 years. The driving record must also show that the applicant has a valid driving status.
- Once the application and driving record are received, the applicant will be interviewed and/or taken on a test drive, if applying for a driving or mechanical position.
- The driving record is then forwarded to the M&M Trucking & Reclamation, Inc.’s insurance company for approval. Should the insurance company not approve the applicants driving record, the application is denied.
- Once the applicant has completed the application, submitted a driving record, finalized the interview and test drive, if applicable, M&M will seek insurance approval. Then M&M will contact previous employers to verify employment history. All questions that are asked are included on the application for employment. If there are no violations the applicant is eligible for hire when positions become available.
Driving applicant eligibility requirements are as follows
- Applicant must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B, with Airbrakes.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age for intrastate commerce and 21 years of age for interstate commerce.
- Must be able to speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public.
- The applicant must possess a valid Medical Certificate and be in good health and physically able to perform all duties of a driver.
- It is beneficial if the applicant has at least six months driving experience.
Employee Referrals for Rewards to fill Employment Opportunities
Referrals for Rewards, is a system set up to reward employees who refer an applicant that is then hired. If an applicant that was referred by a current employee and the applicant is hired and employed for at least 90-days, the employee who referred the applicant receives a bonus.
